In the news right now, all the state union members are freaking out because Republican Governors and Congressmen are trying to cut the entitlement benefits of state employees. I am not sure why this is so difficult for the unions to understand. If you don't make major cuts now, you WILL NOT HAVE A JOB in a few years.
It's very simple. If my families yearly income was about 100,000, and I kept charging 1,000,000 on credit cards every year; eventually I would be in trouble. That is exactly what our federal government, and many democratically run states have been doing for years.
Finally, the voters wised up and elected some fiscally conservative officials. In Michigan, New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Ohio; Union members are protesting. These protesters would make way less if they worked the same job in the private sector. They need to quit boo-hooing, accept the cuts, be happy they still make more than most Americans, and be thankful for their tax payer supported jobs.
It's simple math. Money in vs. money out. Grow up!
